Here’s a list of Trim Healthy Mama gift ideas for $20 or less that are sure to please!
These Good Girl Moonshine original paintings evoke feelings of camaraderie that only Trim Healthy Mamas will understand. A framed 5×7 print along with a gift basket of GGMS ingredients would make an ideal gift for your THM bestie! $20 for 5 prints!
The Trim Healthy Mama Plan Book. If you have a friend that wants to start Trim Healthy Mama, this book is probably the most helpful thing you can give her. It’s essential to understanding the science behind this way of eating and to staying motivated. There are thousands of free recipes online, but only one plan and this is it! $20
Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook. Totally optional, but extremely helpful, especially if you’re just starting out. Gorgeous color photos for almost every recipe, and easy-to-follow directions. Some recipes require the use of special ingredients that you may not be able to find locally (especially if you’re Canadian). $17
Herbs & Spices. Simply Organics is a favorite brand of mine. $4-8
Sea Salt (Mineral Salt). Good quality mineral salt is important to good health and a wonderful gift to recieve. Trim Healthy Mama has their own brand of fine mineral salt which is great for when you need to measure it out, but a grinder with pretty pink crystals is a beautiful gift to give as well. $11
Mason Jar Sip & Straw Lids. I bought a set of these several months ago and have used them every single day. They fit perfectly onto a mason jar and keep the acid from the ACV in the GGMS drinks off your teeth. Dishwasher safe. $8
Stainless Steel Straws. Confession, I don’t have these, but I wouldn’t object to anyone gifting me with them. 😉 They’re healthier for you and better for the environment than plastic straws. This engraved set ensures no accidental sharing of the germs and even comes with a nifty little brush. $9
Parchment paper. I use parchment paper when baking almost all of my THM desserts. A very practical gift for a THM that likes to bake from scratch. $8
Muffin Tin Liners. I use muffin liners for making Treeces and Skinny Chocolate more often than I use them for muffins. Priorities. $4
Dash, Pinch & Smidge Measuring Spoons. These measuring spoons are perfect for measuring out all the highly concentrated alternative sweeteners we use, especially stevia extracts and powder, of which you only ever need a teeny bit. $6
Liquid Stevia. I love using liquid stevia in my GGMS drinks since it doesn’t need to dissolve. It’s quite pricey even though it lasts a long time. Trader Joe’s brand is usually the best value for your dollar. $12
Xylitol. This is my sweetener of choice since it tastes the most like real sugar (to me). Not a good gift for people with pets though, as it is toxic to animals. $10
Lily’s Chocolate Bars. Lily’s makes the best stevia-sweetened chocolate! You can get several different varieties, including Original, Creamy Milk, Coconut, Salted Almond & Milk, and Almond. All of them qualify as a THM-approved S (two small rows is a serving).
Collagen. This is the one special ingredient I splurge on. Trim Healthy Mama has their own brand of collagen, but Great Lakes is my favorite. I find it dissolves the easiest. It’s a fantastic way of adding protein to your diet, and is tasteless in coffee, tea, or soups. (Bonus: it promotes healthy hair and nails!) $20
Vegetable Spiralizer. You can turn any long veggie into “noodles” with this handy gadget, making low-carb S “pasta” dishes a cinch! $10
Oat Bran. This is one THM ingredient that I have not been able to find locally. It’s different than oat flour and oat bran. It would be a welcome gift, since it’s difficult to come by!
Lily’s Chocolate Chips. These things are a total splurge. If I need chocolate chips, I usually just chop up a bar of 85% Cocoa Chocolate (like Lindt’s) as it’s much more economical, but real plan-approved chocolate chips make a thoughtful gift! $9
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Because, Skinny Chocolate (and a million other uses!). I got an enormous container of coconut oil from my Aunt as a baby gift when our 5th child was born, and it’s one of the most well-appreciated food gifts I’ve ever received. $18
Raspberry Zinger Celestial Tea. My husband loves the Raspberry Zinger GGMS made with this tea, real lemon juice, stevia extract, ACV, and a pile of ice cubes. It tastes like a fruity punch. There’s nothing quite like a pink drink to show your man how much you love him. 😉 $4
Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother. ACV boosts your energy, clears your skin, helps with digestion, lowers bad cholesterol and blood sugar levels, and stars in the Good Girl Moonshine that Trim Healthy Mama is popular for. We go through at least a bottle a month. $9
Glass Food Storage Containers with Lids. Slowly, but surely, I’m switching all of our food storage containers over to glass. I love these Glass-lock ones especially because they’re oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe. They’re also easier to stack and store than round glass containers. $14
Merry Christmas, THMs!
